Text Message Policy
Beau Vinci Violins can send you a text message receipt for your purchase,
return, or payment. This page explains what we send, how often, how we ask
your permission, and how to stop.
How customers opt in: in person, verbally, at our counter
We ask you out loud — in person at our shop, or over the phone. We never add
you automatically, and we never buy or import phone numbers. This is exactly
what we say:
Staff: “Would you like your receipt texted to you from Beau Vinci Violins? We’d also use that number for account notices — an unpaid balance, or a card on file that’s expired or been declined. It’s about one message per transaction. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP any time to stop the texts. We never send sales or marketing offers to this number.”
Customer: “Yes, please.”
Staff: “Great — what’s the best mobile number? I’ll send this receipt there
now.”
We record your permission, along with the date and time you gave it.
Saying no changes nothing else. You can still have your receipt printed or
emailed.
What we send
Purchase receipts, unpaid balance notices, and notices that a card on file
has expired or been declined. A receipt message contains only:
– our shop name
– your receipt or invoice number
– the amount
– whether it was paid, refunded, or has a balance due
– our phone number, in case you have a question
We do not include your name in the message, so a text that arrives on your
lock screen doesn’t identify you to anyone who happens to see it.
How often we send
About one message per transaction. Most customers receive fewer than one
message a month.
We do not send marketing, promotions, sales announcements, or newsletters by
text. If we ever offer those, it will be a separate service you have to sign
up for in writing — never something you are added to automatically.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message from us and you’ll get a reply with our contact
information. You can also call us at 678-691-2394 or email
[email protected].
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message from us. You’ll get one confirmation message, and
we won’t text you again. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL,
END, or QUIT, or simply ask us in person or by phone.
If you change your mind later, reply START to begin receiving receipts again.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile phone plan. Beau
Vinci Violins does not charge for text messages. Message delivery is not
guaranteed and depends on your mobile carrier.
Your information
We use your mobile number only to send the receipts and account notices
described on this page. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, or
your consent to receive text messages, with anyone for their own marketing
purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or
affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator
opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
