The questions we get most

Is this a rent-to-own? When will I pay it off?

It is better than a rent-to-own. With rent-to-own you end up owning a rental instrument right when your student needs to step up to the next level. Our equity program lets you apply 100% of your rental payments toward a purchase whenever you are ready.

Can I really use 100% of my payment?

100% of the rental portion — not the maintenance or tax portion. You can apply that balance to up to 50% of a purchase price. This limit rarely affects anyone.

Can I see the equity program in action?

A violin rented 36 months builds $756 in equity. On an $1,800 violin, you would owe $1,044. On a $1,200 violin you could apply $600 and owe $600.

How long am I committed?

After your prepaid months, you are month to month. Terminate any time by just returning the instrument.

What size does my child need?

If you’re in the shop, we’re glad to size your child. If you’re at home DIY, our sizing guide walks you through it.

What comes with it?

Instrument, case and bow. Accessories like rosin, shoulder rest, music stand and books are extra, and yours to keep. You’ll add them when you rent.

How do I get the instrument?

Three ways, and you choose at checkout: pick it up at the shop, have it delivered free to your student’s school if the school if it’s in North Fulton, Cobb or Gwinnett.

What brand is it? Is it good quality?

Beau Vinci’s private brand, set up by hand in our own workshop. Most teachers agree they are the best rentals in the region.

Do I have to pay every month?

The card you check out with is charged on the first of every month. We handle the monthly billing. You can change the card by logging in to your account online.

What if it gets broken?

Your maintenance and damage coverage handles everything except losing the instrument or damaging it on purpose. If one is totaled we may ask for a security deposit before issuing another.

What maintenance do I need to do?

Bring it in once in summer and once in winter — or right away if something seems wrong. We’re even glad to tune it for you.

The full rental program terms and conditions are always available, and you will see them again before you sign.
